DKIM & SPF
SaaS Web sets up the DKIM and SPF parameters in order to help you obtaining a good “reputation” and allowing you to pass filters of other mail systems more easily. This service is available with XL packages or higher.
SSL/TLS
The communication between your application and the SaaS Web Mail Gateway is encrypted and, if the client’s mail system allows it, the communication to the recipient as well.
Fight spam: Amavis/Spamassassin
All outgoing emails are scanned for spam and viruses. This is not only a question of security for the recipient but also for you, finding out if your sending application hasn’t been misused. Spamassassin is the main spam control tool and clamAV for checking against viruses.
Queuing by recipient MX
To be sure that no email is lost when delivering a massive amount of emails, they are queued by recipient MX. The emails are then sent according the delivery speed.
Delivery speed control
It is common usage not to deliver massive amount of emails at once (like spammers do) but moderately. Therefore you can define the delivery speed (within SaaS Web given limits) which will help the mails to land in the recipient mailbox without being marked as spam.
Web interface
The modern and simple web interface can be used to crawl information about emails that have been sent and look for details regarding your account.
Own IP
In order to optimise the mail delivery, you can get an own (or more) IP address assigned, which is not shared with other users. This way, your activity is disconnected from others and you can build up your mail reputation without any disturbing factors. Your emails will find the way to the recipients mailboxes much esier.

Detailed information about SaaS Web Mail Gateway
The SaaS Web Mail Gateway is a dedicated mail system für automatic and/or mass email delivery. It was developped by SaaS Web in order to manage the mails sent by the hosted applications and help customers sending their newsletters.
DKIM
DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is an email authentication method designed to detect email spoofing. It allows the receiver to check that an email claimed to come from a specific domain was indeed authorized by the owner of that domain. It is intended to prevent forged sender addresses in emails, a technique often used in phishing and email spam.
SPF
Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a simple email-validation system designed to detect email spoofing by providing a mechanism to allow receiving mail exchangers to check that incoming mail from a domain comes from a host authorized by that domain’s administrators. The list of authorized sending hosts for a domain is published in the Domain Name System (DNS) records for that domain in the form of a specially formatted TXT record. Email spam and phishing often use forged “from” addresses, so publishing and checking SPF records can be considered anti-spam techniques.
Secure mail delivery for your application
Instead of using the PHP mail() function in order to send emails with your (PHP) web application, mails are configured to be sent via SMTP. Because the delivery is processed by a real mail server, emails are queued in case the recipient mail system wouldn’t be available for a while. Also, all emails are scanned against spam or viruses before leaving.
Comfortable delivery of newsletter
You can use a web client or an offline client installed on your PC in order to connect to the SaaS Web Mail Gateway: just enter the credentials as if you would connect to a regular mailbox andyou’re done.
Bounce Management
SaaS Web integrates a simple bounce management in order to catch returning emails and track the reasoon for non delivery.
Bounce Cleanup API
Mails which have been bounced because of “mailbox unknown” or “unknown recipient” can be called using the API in order to clean the recipient list (if your client supports this feature). Alternatively it is possible to download the clean recipient list as a CSV file.
Whitelisting
SaaS Web registers the IPs of the mail server to several whitelist providers in order to increase the IP reputation and increase the delivery rate.
Easy billing
There is a monthly fee which includes a certain amount of emails to be sent during that month. If the amount of mails sent exceeds the monthly limit, mails are counted and billed according the unit price of that package. In the web interface you can check the currnt amount of mails sent at any time.
No long term contract
As all SaaS Web products, there is no long commitment: 2 weeks up to end of the next month.
